Professorship for Mathematics of Machine Learning

We are working on mathematical questions that arise in the fields of machine learning and data science. The topics we are addressing have strong connections to the mathematical subfields of analysis and optimization, as well as computer science. A special focus of our research lies on adversarial robustness of artificial intelligence, graph methods for learning, and nonlinear optimization.
