The chair's quantitative research deals with the interface of operations management, microeconomics and business analytics. They are are particularly interested in the analysis of large amounts of empirical data (sensor data and transaction data, web scraping) and combine them with state-of-the-art optimization approaches to create and simplify data-based decision support systems.
