Chair for Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Systems

The chair has been working on artificial intelligence and knowledge systems since 1992. The focal points include the development of open source tools for learning methods, data and knowledge processing, image interpretation (including OCR, OMR, medical image processing), information extraction (including from novels, legal judgements, medical reports), as well as intelligent tutoring systems and simulation systems.
