In the second series of talks organised by CAIDAS, members and selected guests present their research with exciting talks on current activities and projects. The talks will take place every Friday in the middle of the month at 15:00 (st) starting from December 2021. The talks will last 45 minutes, followed by a 15-minute discussion.

The University of Würzburg was again successful in the competition for an Alexander von Humboldt Professorship. The computer scientist Radu Timofte is to strengthen the university as an expert in the field of computer vision.
MehrCAIDAS and the Center for Computational and Theoretical Biology (CCTB) have an open positions for a professorship for Artificial Intelligence in Computational and Theoretical Biology and are looking forward to receive applications from experts until 30 July 2021.

The first new building for CAIDAS in sight. The Free State of Bavaria has given the green light and is providing funding. A total of 1.900 m² on four floors will be built on the North Campus on a construction field next to the Mathematics buildings in a modularized system.
