About me
I joined the LiteRL Group at the JMU in November 2024 as a Postdoctoral researcher. My research interests lie at the intersection of Reinforcement Learning and Robotics. The primary goal of my work is to enable next-generation robots to seamlessly adapt to new environments and generalize to previously unseen conditions. Before joining the group, I conducted a Ph.D. in the National PhD AI Programme at Politecnico di Torino (Italy), where I investigated deep learning-based methods for motion generation conditioned on 3D objects. As a PhD student, I enrolled in the Ellis PhD&Post-Doc programme and the ELIZA School of Excellence programme to collaborate with TU Darmstadt on the development of simulation-to-real transfer algorithms for robotic manipulation tasks. In 2019, I obtained a M.Sc. degree in Data Science and Engineering from Politecnico di Torino (Italy), and completed my Master thesis at Aalto University (Finland) titled "Towards safe and efficient transfer of robot policies from simulation to real world".
