Chair for Computer Vision
Core areas of the professorship are computational principles for processing digital image and (live) video and camera data with a specific emphasis on interactive digitalized products of human embodied activities, e.g. in the areas of human-computer interaction, communication studies, culture (sports, gaming, acting, press, news, politics, etc.), or (social) robotics. The professorship will have expertise in one or more of the following fields: 3D Computer Vision, machine learning and/or deep learning for computer vision, pattern detection, signal processing, mathematics of image processing, GPU/Multicore-development, and engineering solutions for robust software systems reliably working under real-time constraints.
