Chair for Computer Philology and History of Contemporary German Literature
The chair is concerned with computer philology, the application of the computer to fields of literary studies. Computational philology is part of the Digital Humanities.
They work primarily in the field of Computational Literary Studies, in which more computationally intensive procedures are applied to mostly larger collections of literary texts.
