AI Talks @JMU
every semester during lecture period
Selected guests and new CAIDAS members present their research with exciting talks on current activities and projects. The talks take place on tuesdays at 16:15. The talks are 45 minutes, followed by a 15-minute discussion. The language of presentation is English.

Workshop: Artificial Intelligence for Software Engineering

The workshop brings together researchers and practitioners to explore how AI can assist software engineering, focusing on AI support for developers, defect prediction, and AI in software project management. It aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and strengthen ties between Polish and German universities, with input from academia and industry.
KI 2024 - 47th German Conference on AI & LWDA 2024

KI is one of the major European AI conferences and traditionally brings together academic and industrial researchers from all areas of AI, providing an ideal place for exchanging news and research results on theory and applications. The conference is jointly organized with the LWDA 2024 conference. The organization is carried out by members of CAIDAS und Institute for Computer Science.

It can happen that fast: After just one year of construction, the new building for CAIDAS was completed. Bavaria's Science Minister Markus Blume attended the opening. Variuos CAIDAS members presented their research to the Minister and the audience.
Workshop: Data Analysis for the Digital Humanities: Projects, Methods, Insights
6 - 8 February 2023
The workshop brings together 20 scholars from various disciplines to address challenges in "Digital Humanities." It focuses on data and corpora, network analysis methods, and the generation of knowledge through digital techniques, aiming to promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
