Research

Our research focuses on the development of innovative AI technologies to improve medical diagnostics and image analysis. Using deep learning, self-supervised learning and natural language processing, we combine state-of-the-art informatics methods with clinical expertise. One focus is on the application of AI in gastroenterology and radiology, where we develop systems that provide real-time support during clinical examinations. With an interdisciplinary approach and international cooperation, we focus on transparency and open science to sustainably improve patient care.
